OUR ADDITIONAL PROPOSAL:
BOOK THE TOUR WITH AN ARCHEOLOGICAL GUIDE

Have you ever thought it was possibile joining two unforgettable experiences together? Riding is more than a pass time, is a lifestyle, but riding all the way long ancient roman ruins, villas, circuses, mausoleums, this will be something you’ll never forget! A famous motto says “when in Rome do like Romans”.
The Appian Way, the longest and oldest ancient roman road, still preserves the original pavy, so our horses will step on the same stones roman’s did, when they were excellent riders…less lazy than modern roman citizens:) but smaller, so short that to help them getting on and off horses while traveling, smart ancient engineers provided roads whit high stone made step stools, what now we call sidewalks, did you know that?
If you want to know more about Ancient Romans, monuments along the Appian Way and equestrian history of Roman Empire, choose to book a tour with our archeological guide!
